We use storage to provide the game and the preferences you choose. Google advertising and optional tracking are not currently enabled.

Four Card Golf is operated by HUGO.FM Limited, registered in England and Wales, company number 11911713. Registered office: 55 Station Road, Manningtree, Essex, England, CO11 1EB. For support, privacy requests or other enquiries, use the HUGO.FM contact form and mention Four Card Golf.

Storage used by the game

  • fcg_session: an essential, first-party cookie for friends games. It contains a random reconnect token, lasts seven days from its last refresh, and cannot be read by ordinary page scripts. HTTPS connections use its Secure setting.
  • four-card-golf:appearance:v1: local storage for your chosen card pack, card style and table colour. Saved when you change the settings, until you reset or clear it.
  • four-card-golf:solo:v1: local storage for one unfinished computer game, including its cards and scores. Expires after seven days; removed on your next visit after expiry, when you finish the match, or when you clear it. It is not sent to our room server.

Sound and ambience choices last for the current game session. Hosting may use essential security or authentication storage. The owner’s administration area uses ChatGPT sign-in; ordinary players do not need to sign in.

Your controls

Use Help & privacy to clear local game progress and appearance preferences. You can also delete this site’s cookies and storage in your browser. Deleting the reconnect cookie can prevent you from reclaiming a friends-room seat; deleting the local save loses that solo game.

Advertising and future changes

No advertising script is loaded by this release. Before Google ads are enabled, this page will describe their storage and providers and the site will offer the required consent controls. Rejecting optional advertising storage must not stop you playing. Essential game storage does not use a marketing-consent banner.
